The Shimamura Group has approximately 2,200 stores in 47 prefectures throughout Japan, and also has stores in Taiwan.
Transfer center
The Shimamura Group has 10 in-house transfer centers in Japan. Every day, we deliver products from Hokkaido to Okinawa. Furthermore, for products sold from our directly-managed online store, a dedicated EC logistics center located inside the Higashi-Matsuyama Transfer Center handles shipping to the customer's home and provides BOPIS (Buy Online Pick-up In Store) operation.
Head office
The Shimamura Group is developing a corporate chain for centralized management from the head office for directly-managed stores that have been opened throughout Japan. The head office collectively manages store-related processes such as product procurement, inter-store movement, and markdowns, as well as store renovations and repairs. Furthermore, dedicated departments at the head office handle areas such as store development and system development.
